The Mighty Hearts Mission1 in 110 children lives with congenital heart disease (CHD). There is no cure.
Helping keep families happy and thriving while managing their child's care is essential to living with CHD long term. Having a child diagnosed with congenital heart disease (CHD)—often combined with another diagnosis—can be a scary time. Bringing them home from the hospital after open heart surgery, or other complications related to their heart condition can be more scary and even overwhelming. The Mighty Hearts Charitable Fund's mission is to help families affected by CHD by bridging the gaps between their child’s medical care, hospital stays and living with CHD at home. |
